Tottenham want to sell the player for £32million and hope he can increase his value in the coming months.
Tottenham Hotspur will likely have their work cut out for them during the summer transfer window, both in terms of arrivals and departures.
Ange Postecoglou has performed cleanly since joining Spurs last summer, but it obviously takes multiple transfer windows to transform a team
One player Spurs would apparently like to sign permanently is Sergio Reguilon, who is currently on loan at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The 27-year-old last played for Spurs in April 2022.
He was on loan at Atletico Madrid last season and has played for two different Premier League sides this season.
Reguilon spent the first half of the season at Manchester United, who completed his loan in January, and will now remain at Brentford until the end of the season.
Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon will hopefully “re-evaluate” himself at BrentfordEstadio Deportivo has now written about the Spaniard’s future and Tottenham’s attitude towards the player.
They see Reguilon make the most of his opportunities and perform well for the West Londoners as Rico Henry and Aaron Hickey recover from their respective injuries
The Estadio Deportivo have a link with Sevilla, who Reguilon used to play for, and they say the Spurs owner now has a “chance to relax” after a difficult few years.
The outlet also claims that Tottenham hope Reguilon will “re-evaluate” himself in the Premier League in the coming months. If all goes well, this would push the player further into the summer window and allow Spurs to finally sell him outright.
Reguilon is a player of “incredible” talent and potential, who has unfortunately failed to make his mark at Tottenham since his £32m transfer in 2020.
But considering Atletico, Manchester United and Brentford have signed him on loan, he is clearly a sought-after player with a lot to offer.
LooksThere is a good chance that Tottenham will sell him in the summer if they have the chance. If he excels for Brentford, we hope there will be plenty of interest and perhaps even a bidding war.
