Albert Riera was among the former Liverpool players who returned to training ahead of the legends game at Anfield this weekend.
The Spaniard is currently managing Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia but has had time to return to Merseyside.
Following the sharing of a clip of a brilliant solo effort in training, it appears that the 40-year-old is still fit and raring to go.
Picking up the ball on the left wing, he skipped past Luis Garcia’s sliding tackle, went around Martin Skrtel with a beautiful step-over, and fired into the bottom corner of the net.
Rolling back the years by the former Manchester City player, and let’s hope we see something similar against the Manchester United legends.
