According to Marca, Real Madrid forward Borja Mayoral is close to joining Getafe this summer. It has been reported that the Spanish striker could leave Real Madrid for Getafe in a €10 million deal during the summer transfer window.
Mayoral had a good six-month loan spell at Getafe in the previous season, where he put in a few eye-catching performances in the attacking end of the field. Last season, the Spaniard scored six goals and assisted once in 18 appearances for the Spanish national team in various competitions.
Despite this, the 25-year-old struggled to be consistent in front of goal, with an average of 0.9 shots, 0.7 key passes, and 0.8 dribbles per 90 minutes in La Liga football.
