“Might Be Compared To Leave” – Real Madrid Superstar Opens Up Complaint On Lack Of Reasonable Playing Time

Real Madrid has started the season with a bang, winning nine of their first nine games in all competitions. Karim Benzema, Vinicius Jr, and Rodrygo have led the team’s charge and continue to score regularly.

Eden Hazard, on the other hand, has had a difficult start to the season. After all, that has been the Belgian’s story since he joined the club in 2019.

Currently, on international duty with Belgium, the player discussed his situation at Real Madrid during the camp. When pressed on the subject, he did not hold back and openly stated his desire to play more minutes.

The former Chelsea forward also insisted that he deserved more playing time solely on merit, adding that the situation was complicated.

“There have been trying times because I want to play but don’t.” I’m happy at Real Madrid; I just play less. And when I do play, I do it well. “It’s a tricky situation because I want to play more,” he said following Belgium’s win over Wales (h/t MARCA).

Hazard has appeared in four of Real Madrid’s eight games this season, starting only one. He has only found the back of the net once in that time.

Needless to say, his lack of club game time is a major concern for the Belgian national team, especially with the World Cup just around the corner.

“I want to get in shape for the World Cup by scratching the most minutes possible,” he added.

Hazard can improve his situation with a good run of form in the coming weeks, but it won’t be easy for the once-feared wing-wizard.
