Manchester United is interested in signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund next summer.
According to reports, Manchester United is interested in signing Jude Bellingham. According to The Athletic, the Red Devils are one of several clubs interested in signing Bellingham.
The Englishman is still wanted by Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, and a battle is expected next summer.
“Jude is very happy at the club; he is very committed to us,” Dortmund’s Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl told BT Sport.
“Hopefully, he will be able to stay next season and for a long time.”
“We make every effort to retain our best players.” Jude is one of them, and we try to keep them as long as we can.”
“However, money is another consideration, and England pays significantly more than Germany.” Every year, we must renew our philosophy.”
Dortmund is said to be worth €150 million to Bellingham. If he moves, he will become the most expensive British footballer in history.
The Bundesliga giants are still determined to keep their star player and have already planned to sign him to a new contract.
United was the closest to signing him in 2020 of all the clubs interested.
Despite being shown around the training complex and meeting Sir Alex Ferguson, Bellingham chose to continue his development in Germany.
The 19-year-old has established himself as one of Europe’s best midfielders at Dortmund. His all-around skills at such a young age are simply astounding.
Ten Hag would like to include him in his United project, but he faces an uphill battle.
