Lisandro Martinez is quickly becoming Manchester United’s most popular player, and fans have been blown away by his season highlights thus far.
The 24-year-old joined United from Ajax in a £56.7 million summer transfer and is already a key player for the club.
Martinez is a left-footed central defender who played under Erik ten Hag in Amsterdam, so he’s familiar with the style of play at Old Trafford.
Martinez’s start to the Premier League hasn’t been easy, as he lost his first two games and was substituted in a 4-0 loss to Brentford.

Martinez, along with Raphael Varane, has recovered significantly and is now first-choice at the back.

Martinez isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and has already constructed a number of vital blocks. He celebrates each one as if it were a goal, whether it’s with goalkeeper David de Gea or his teammates.
