Martinez and De Gea send encouraging messages to Facundo Pellistri following their return to training.
With so little time spent at Manchester United since signing due to two loan spells and then an injury, Facundo Pellistri could be forgiven for feeling a little out of place.

Manchester United’s players, thankfully, are doing everything possible to prevent this from happening. The young winger has clearly made an impact.
Pellistri returned to training on Friday, just before learning that he has been re-called to the Uruguay squad for upcoming international matches.

He has received messages from Lisandro Martinez and David de Gea encouraging him to make the most of his return to training.

Pellistri expressed his joy at returning to Instagram in a message. Both David de Gea and Lisandro Martinez responded in an attempt to motivate him.
De Gea instructed Pellistri to ‘hit it,’ while Martinez wrote, ‘let’s go with everything.’
Pellistri had an ankle injury during the preseason against Atletico Madrid in Norway. This denied him the opportunity to secure a loan move, which could have worked in his favor.

The young winger could now get his long-awaited first-team debut for Manchester United in October when the team will play nine games.
Pellistri scored for Manchester United against Liverpool in the preseason and is expected to be named to Uruguay’s World Cup squad.
Despite his international success with Uruguay, Pellistri’s club calendar year has been so difficult that he has yet to play a competitive game at the club level in 2022, with Alaves repeatedly passing him over after changing managers.
Pellistri, now back at United and finally fit, will travel to Uruguay to hopefully get some game time and build his fitness.
Then he’ll return to Carrington for the frantic month of October to ‘hit it and make an impression on manager Erik ten Hag.
