Donny Van De Beek Spills The Beans On Manchester United Dressing Room Secret Involving Bruno Fernandes

While at Carrington during the international break, Donny van de Beek discussed Manchester United’s dressing room secrets.

Donny van de Beek has revealed that Bruno Fernandes is in charge of the music in Manchester United’s locker room.

Van de Beek, 25, has struggled for game time since joining United from Ajax in the summer of 2020. He was expected to benefit from the arrival of Erik ten Hag, but despite the Dutchman’s arrival, he has remained a fringe player.

The midfielder joined Everton on loan in January and has now returned to United to compete for a starting spot at Old Trafford. Van de Beek has played just 19 minutes in the Premier League since the season began six weeks ago.

Van de Beek has missed the last three matchday squads due to injury, and he was not named to Louis van Gaal’s Netherlands squad for the international break this week, so he has stayed at Carrington while the majority of his teammates are away.

This has provided him with the opportunity to speak with the club’s media about some dressing room secrets in an interview:

“Who is my best friend at United?” “That’s an excellent question,” Van de Beek told United’s internal media. “I have a few guys I’m good with, like Luke [Shaw], but I also have a few other guys with whom I do some stuff outside of football.” Luke is one of the guys I get along well with. We also go out for dinner or lunch after training with a few other guys, such as Nemanja Matic or Juan Mata in the past. I believe it is beneficial to do so on occasion in order to relax.

“This is the type of thing we do. I believe Bruno [Fernandes] sings a lot of music in the locker room. But I don’t know who did it before. Now that I see Bruno with the box, I assume he is responsible for all of the music. I like a few of his songs, but not all of them.” I believe he is competent. Everything was different, even when he put some Dutch music in the dressing room.  Different kinds of things. Last season, everyone had to submit a song, which we mixed.”
