“Born To Be Great” – United Legend Believes Man Utd Transfer Target Is The Ideal Fit For Ten Hag

Moises Caicedo should join Manchester United in the future, according to Antonio Valencia.

Manchester United have benefited greatly from the players Erik ten Hag brought in during the summer transfer window.

Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez have all been outstanding for the Red Devils during their four-match winning streak.

While the defense has improved significantly, the addition of Eriksen has altered the way the midfield has played this season.

Ten Hag’s first choice for the deeper role was Barcelona’s, Frenkie de Jong. After the De Jong impasse refused to be resolved, United opted for Casemiro.

And the Dutch manager is still looking to add another midfielder, with rumors linking the Red Devils with a move for Barcelona star and Borussia Dortmund’s highly-coveted English youngster Jude Bellingham.

Moises Caicedo, the midfield general for Brighton, was another name that circulated during the summer and has been linked with a move in the future.

The Ecuadorian has been in excellent form this season, and he was one of the standout performers in the Seagulls’ opening-day win over Ten Hag’s side.

When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge, United had the opportunity to sign the 20-year-old, but Brighton pounced when United turned down the opportunity.

Valencia wishes for Caicedo to join United.

And Caicedo has impressed so much that, following Graham Potter’s departure to Chelsea, there is increased speculation that the English manager wants his former midfield general to join him in London.

And United legend Antonio Valencia believes the Ecuador international’s skill set makes him an ideal fit for one of the Premier League’s big clubs.

However, the former right-winger urged his compatriot to choose United over any other club.

“Hopefully Moises Caicedo can go to a big team in England,” he said, according to Studio Futbol. “He is a humble young man; he was born to be great, and hopefully he will join Manchester United.”
