Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing Antoine Griezmann.
The Frenchman is currently on loan from Barcelona to Atletico Madrid, with the former having the option to sign him permanently.
However, due to a clause in the contract, Atletico frequently plays the 31-year-old for less than 45 minutes per game, believing that it will save the club money.
He has a massive £683 million release clause in his Barcelona contract, and it appears that United is interested in his services heading into the New Year.

On Sunday, TEAMtalk relayed an update from The Athletic regarding United and Griezmann.
They claimed that the Red Devils enquired about the forward during the summer and are considering signing him in January.
Griezmann has been dubbed “one of the greatest players of all time” by his national team coach, Didier Deschamps, and has scored 273 goals for club and country.
He can play as a center-forward, second striker, or from the left wing, giving Erik ten Hag’s team a lot of versatility.

Ten Hag could use another center-forward in the winter and hopes to sign one along with a right-back and a midfielder.
Griezmann could be that man, but it could be a costly move for the Glazers, as the forward is thought to earn £351,000 per week.
