UPDATE: The Celtics won by a score of 138-110, and Kyrie Irving finished with 19 points, four rebounds and two assists.
On Friday evening, the Dallas Mavericks are playing the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.

During the game, Kyrie Irving made NBA history by moving ahead of Kemba Walker (1,670) for sole possession of 34th on the all-time three-pointers list.
Following Walker, the next player for Irving to pass will be Hall of Famer Steve Nash (1,685).

Irving came into the evening with averages of 25.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field and 42.5% from the three-point range in 37 games.
The Mavs are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 34-25 record in 59 games.
They are 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Toronto Raptors by a score of 136-125.
Irving had 29 points, one rebound, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 11/20 from the field and 2/6 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.
Following the Celtics, the Mavs will return home to host the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday afternoon in Dallas, Texas.
Irving was the first pick in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Duke and is in his 12th season in the league.
He has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers (in addition to Dallas).
The 2016 NBA Champion has career averages of 23.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 47.3% from the field and 39.3% from the three-point range in 708 regular season games.
