Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has signed a contract to join the Saudi Pro League, former Tottenham, and West Ham striker Mido has sensationally claimed.
The 41-year-old Egyptian legend, who is currently retired, said on X on Tuesday, February 27, that Salah has “signed contracts” for the 2024–25 season, mentioning the Saudi Arabian Premier League by hashtag.
Since the Pro League began to attract some of the best football players in the world, Salah has been frequently associated with a move to the Middle East. Football Insider earlier disclosed in November 2023 that Salah has committed verbally to become one of the rising number of elite players in Saudi Arabia later in the year.

Mido, who managed in Saudi Arabia before to his playing career and made 94 Premier League appearances, has now stated that the 31-year-old has decided to leave Liverpool.
Salah signed his most recent extension in the summer of 2022, and his deal at Anfield is set to expire in June 2025. Despite getting older, he has so far in the 2023–24 season maintained his elite level of play. The 96-cap Egypt international has scored 19 goals and provided 10 assists in 28 games this season in all competitions.
He moved to Liverpool from Roma in 2017, and since then, he has scored 205 goals to help the team win the FA Cup, the Premier League, and the Champions League.
