Tottenham U21 star Brooklyn Lyons-Foster swaps north London for Finlan Tottenham may regret their decision to let U21 defender Brooklyn Lyons-Foster leave the club.
There have been plenty of changes in north London this season, both at academy and first-team level, as Ange Postecoglou continues to make his mark at Hotspur Way.
In January, several big names left the team, including Eric Dier, Hugo Lloris and Ivan Perisic, who left Tottenham permanently and were looking for new opportunities.
A number of talents are emerging among the U21 and U18 players, while players such as Alfie Devine and Ashley Phillips have been sent on high-profile loan deals to Championship side Plymouth Argyle.
It’s hard to disagree with many of the decisions the club has made this season, with the first team as well as the U21 and U18 squads doing well, but they may regret their recent personnel changes.

He started all 11 Premier League 2 games for Wayne Burnett’s division-topping side and had a 100% record in the competition.
Nonetheless, he has been allowed to leave the club and Spurs top brass hope they will not have to regret the decision again.
The versatile defender came through the ranks at Hotspur Way and became a key figure in the club’s development squad. During his 99 appearances at this level, he was captain of the U21s several times.
However, he only made it to the first team bench as he was used as a substitute in two competitive first team matches during the 2021/22 season.
He was probably frustrated with his lack of progress in north London and wanted to continue his career, which is an understandable decision.
What is incomprehensible, however, is why, after so much success in the youth teams, Spurs never offered him a fair chance in the first team.
Lyons-Foster have never made a competitive appearance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Whatever the reasons, the decision has now been made and Spurs will hope the decision does not come back to haunt them after players such as Marcus Edwards and Noni Madueke left and joined the club in recent years, as evidenced by their qualities elsewhere in the world.
